Guitarist and composer Mathias Sandberg has created this special concert programme to celebrate Jazz Finland 100. The year 2026 marks one hundred years since jazz symbolically arrived in Finland aboard the steamship Andania.
The theme of the concert is freedom. The programme features a unique blend of new compositions, traditional spirituals, gospel songs, and jazz classics inspired by this timeless theme. Pianist Mikael Myrskog accompanies the performance.
